Summer is in full swing, and it’s hot sunny days here in the South!  I’ll grab the cold drinks and meet you on the terrace.  There are a few things I want to let you in on. *smile*

Charlene places a tray of drinks on the table and a fluffy ear and two big brown eyes peek around her ankle.  Oh, don’t mind my little Pekingese.  His name is Brian, and he’s very timid.  He’ll quietly stay by me if you don’t mind.  She takes a seat on the lounge and tickles his ears.  He came from Liz E.’s Pekingese Rescue and Sanctuary in Benton, Arkansas.  Actually, he came from Springfield, Missouri.  When we decided to adopt a rescue dog, we looked on line for the best way to go, and I found Brian.  Leesha at LPRS arranged for volunteers to bring him to her and she brought him to our house to meet him. We filled out the paperwork right then.  It’s amazing all the kindhearted people who go out of their way to help these sweet little doggies find good homes.  He’s been my shadow ever since.  *smile*  Charlene pats her knees.  Okay, Brian, come on up.  He bounds onto her lap, and she welcomes him with a snuggle.

Aumelan, book one in the Aumelan series, has been accepted for publication by my publisher and has been assigned a release date in January 2015!  YAY!!  This series will have 4 books in it; Aumelan, World Beneath the Rock, Waters of Tiger Rod, and Kingdom, Rise.  We’ll have to wait and see if the series name will stay the same as the title of book one.  But excitement is already buzzing about it.  It is a YA/NA crossover and a group of young people got together to pose for the characters a few weeks back.  You can find some of the behind the scenes images under the Aumelan Shoot 1 page if you’d like a peek.  We do have a few that have been edited under the Characters page.  All of this is in the sidebar of my website under Fanfare/Aumelan Series.  Do take a minute and browse around the Extras.  We had so much fun at the shoot!  *smile*

July 18th:  5:30pm (cst)  I’m taking over Nerdy Book Freak’s Facebook page for a whole hour!  There will be clips, memes, excerpts, and contests with fun prizes.

July 21st:  5:00pm (cst)  I’ll be joining several other authors at Delilah Devlin’s Facebook page for an exciting event of more prizes, excerpts, and Hot Book Boyfriends!

Aug 1st:  5:00pm (cst)  I’m hosting the Saints & Sinners Party and it’s going to be Ravin’ with six awesome authors; NYT/USA Today Best Sellers and Award Winners!  Once again, this will be an evening of fantastic books from erotic to sweet, new releases, and prizes!!
